Walking Paris with Henry Miller

Mapping Montsouris

I’ve posted some maps of the Montsouris walk and have updated the site navigation bar to provide quick access them. You can find the Montsouris map in the drop-down menu under “The Walks”. There’s a Google satellite map for this walk as well, which you’ll find linked from the same page. Should you click the “The Walks” link itself, you’ll be taken to an overview page with small versions of the maps, including a Paris par arrondissements style plan to give a better feel for how each walk fits into Paris as a whole.

Elsewhere

There are several places in Paris that were of great importance to Miller, but which do not fit comfortably into organized walks. Either they are somewhat isolated from other sites or they are removed from the city of Paris itself as is the case with Anaïs Nin’s home at Louveciennes. These sites will be included in a new “Elsewhere” category and can be visited separately.

I’ll head out for a quick side-trip to Louveciennes before beginning our next walk.
